Allison Jones: Her Story of Resilience After a Brain Tumor

Challenges bombard our lives often. Some are easier to overcome than others and there are some that can break us. What makes the difference is how we choose to deal with them and how strong our faith is to help get us through.

Think about the last time you had a major challenge in your life and you were forced to make a decision. Think about how hard it was and all the things you had to consider.

Some of us are at that point right now due to the financial hardships related to the coronavirus epidemic. Some have loss their jobs, health benefits, investments, and their once stable lifestyles. But it’s so good to know that it’s not the end. We are resilient and can bounce back. My favorite words, “This too shall pass” is what gets me through a lot.

So many times in our lives we are put to a test. Our strength is tested. Our faith is tested. And our will to fight is tested.

But the good thing about test is they help to develop our character, build confidence, and teach lessons that impart wisdom on us. And in a lot of cases, our test become our testimony.

Meet Allison Jones, she was put through a major test when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and had to fight her way through brain surgery recovery. Thank God she didn’t let the brokenness stop her, and she is here to tell her story of resilience.

Allison Jones is an Atlanta native who travels the world alongside her husband, who plays professional basketball. She is a graduate of the University of Miami and has a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

In addition, she is a blogger, social media influencer, and a business owner. She enjoys sharing her experiences of being a basketball wife, fashionista, and an avid world traveler on social media. The name of her business is called Kintsugi Candle Co.
